PHILIP GLANCEY

Dear Philip a lovely person so kind a fabulous kind heart helping word in times of need and so sincere he was, Reaching the hearts of many a Cork person in his short life and will never forget him, In 1987 we had our first chat and many hundreds of chats after that the last time was in the autumn of 22 out side the old Abbey Court House even thoe he was suffering we had a chat and a few smiles i will never forget him and i carry him in my heart and my taughts as i walk the street of the city when i visit now a days and Cork is missing something its Philip such a dear friend my heart is broken as i hear the news only to day on the 7 of march, To. His family and father my condolence God rest you Philip, May you rest in peace in the arms of our lady and our Lord my dear friend never will forget you Philip

I am so very sorry to learn of Philips passing recently. I remember Philip when he was a young man, such a handsome gentle person. He was a lovely friend to the family. He always called with his bike on a Friday night and we looked forward to his visits. I never forgot him. He had a gentle soul and a kind heart. May he rest in peace.
