Phil was a wonderful colleague in Ulster Bank who did so much during his life time for the people who worked with him. Phil has left us with a great treasure of memories and experiences. My sincere condolences to Philip’s family and extended family on your sad loss. Philip interviewed me when he worked in Ulster Bank HR in Athlone back in the early 70’s and I spent many years working there and met many lovely people whom I am still in contact with. Thank you Philip and may your gentle soul rest in peace 🙏🏻

My sincere condolences to Mrs Curran, to all of Philip’s children (especially to John who I was in school with) and all his loved ones. Mr Curran (as I knew him to be) was always a considerate man, always having a supporting word for the young brats in Allendale Avenue despite us making noise endlessly by playing football around the Currans house. Such a lovely family and always welcoming to all. Mr Curran will be missed and I am gutted I missed the funeral to represent my mother (Eileen), my late father (Denis) and wider family so I could pay my respects to the Curran family. May Mr Curran rest in peace, he will be fondly remembered.

To Veronica & family, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. My father always spoke highly of Philip and I had the honour of working with Veronica. I would always get a hello and hand shake from Philip when he was on SVDP duty at our Curraheen Road church. May he rest in peace.
