We were very sad to hear the news of Philip’s passing. Pauline, we will always remember his work for the Parents and Friends Association in the C.R.C. Heartfelt condolences to you, Nicola and the boys.

I was so sad to hear of Philips passing......he was kind, smart and reliable.I loved meeting him every six weeks on nights where he worked on Quality Quest(Aer Lingus).
He will be missed but not forgotten and I wish his family and friends condolence during this sad time.

Sincere condolences to Pauline, Nicola, Graham and Adam. I consider myself lucky to call Philip a friend for over 40 years. He leaves us with great memories over those years. Great host at house parties, great craic, very caring and supportive when needed. The very definition of a family man, everything he did was for the benefit of his family. Never heard him say a bad word about anyone and opposite to that, never heard a bad word said about him !. I’m finding it hard, thinking about the life of my older brother Philip. He was always kind to me when I was growing up and even when I was a moody teenager. This was especially true around the time that our father died.
Philip reminds me so much of our dad. Philip was always quiet and he allowed others to have the lime-light, but he was always the steadying hand. Philip had a great sense of humour and he was great fun to be around.
He always saw the good in people and helped as needed. His great laugh was actually a chuckle, it used to make me laugh when he’d come on the phone to chat……. He would chuckle and say “Well, Pauline has told you all the news”, (LOL), It was always good to hear his cheery voice.
For me, Philip was a great example of a loving husband, father and grandfather, he loved to tell me all about his grandchildren individually, and the mischief they would get up to. They brought so much joy into his life.
What a great achievement for Pauline and Philip together in raising a wonderful loving and supportive family who are always there for each other, kind and thoughtful, just like Philip and Pauline.
I have many happy memories of Philip which I will now hold even dearer. I am sad that I can no longer see him in this life, but I know I will be with him in the next part of our life’s journey.
I came across this simple little quote that I feel is so true “We can’t fully appreciate the joyful reunion later without the tearful separation now”
