I am so sorry to hear of Phil's passing. He and my mother were 3rd cousins and great friends in their childhood. They kept in contact up to her passing in 2013.

I’m deeply saddened to hear that Philip has passed. When I moved to Guileen 26 years ago , both he and Imelda were so very kind to me . I used to jokingly call them “Mom and Pop” . Their door was always open for serious chats , tea , a glass of wine and always with a genuinely warm , homely welcome . I have wonderful memories of nights where we might’ve had a few too many and laughed together well into the early hours .
They were both wonderful people, very much loved and are hopefully together once again. Unfortunately I can’t make the service but my thoughts are with all the family at this very sad time. .
