We got to know Phil on his many visits to the Rower. He was a real gentleman and it was always a pleasure to meet him. May his gentle soul rest in peace

Dear Michael, Eugene and the Muldoon family we are so sorry for your loss. Philip was such a special man. A ray of light. We were lucky enough to have gotten to know him and lovely memories of your trips to Leitrim. He was funny witty and a joy to be around. Thinking of you at this sad time.

An absolute gentleman, and a very good friend of my late Father Benny Smyth, they worked together in the sixties in Birmingham Uk, they both worked on the famous Spaghetti Junction, they also socialise in St Francis Club Handsworth.

A good family friend, and always wanted to move back home which he did in the late Nineties.

He was delighted when I moved to
to Ireland and got Married he always kept in touch, to see how my mother was and the rest of the family, a true friend

Philip was a great friend to our Aunty Con in Birmingham. He looked out for her until she died. We were forever grateful. Philip was a wonderful person. May he now rest in peace
