...my condolences to philips close family and friends on his passing...i knew philip in kerry back in 1990 to 1992....we were both talking one day about being unsettled and philip said that the best way of becoming settled is that if you owe a lot of money or meet a good partner...always remembered that.....rip....

We were very sorry to hear of Phil's passing. We knew him from his and our years of doing the country market. He was always cheerful first thing on a Sunday morning, either singing or whistling and always asked others how they were. Our sincere condolences to Teresa and all of Phil's family and friends. Sincere condolences to Philip's family on your sad loss. Our memory of Phil is his smiling face and his delicious brown scones. His scones were legendary in our family and up there with the Maharees carrots! Every trip to our caravan meant Phil's scones for breakfast and we always had to bring some home to Dublin too. Thank you, Phil. A lovely man. RIP.

I am so terribly sorry to hear this news.

We are so saddened to hear of the passing of Philip . One of the first men to join Mike in the kitchen, and a lovely neighbour in Maharees at the time. We loved his cafe in Castlegregory, and his brown bread for years after. So many wonderful contributions to the local community, he will be missed.
