So sorry to hear that Phil passed. I have lovely memories of working with Phil in Foleys Deli, in Clonmel. He always had a laugh and a joke not always clean mind you. Phil was very popular with everyone young and old. My condolences to all his family. God Bless You Phil Rest in Peace. Libby.

Lots of great fun , stirring, winding and filthy jokes ever since we started “ working “ !!!! together in 78 at Billy Higgins in Boulta ,Ballynoe on a Sunday morning with John Cronin , Paat Moore the Cat & Pat Murphy & John Hale shuttering , then guniting , grouting , Lining & Sewers ,what craic all over the 32 countries and annoying Couchie was your favourite ending to a session especially with N Atkins & George in tow!!

We are deeply saddened by the loss of our Uncle Phil.
As nieces and nephews of Phil who spent their Summer holidays in Lismore . Phil brought laughter to our lives with his playful spirit , he would scare the lives out of us with stories of Banshee's and ghosts whilst knocking on the bedroom windows from outside in the pitch darkness and howling strange noises !!

Another one of Lismore’s great characters gone , between stories and jokes and banter at the classroom Phil always had one or two ,he lit up the bar when he’d start. It was an absolute privilege to have known him and be in he’s company ,my day was never boring when Phil was in .Phil you were an absolute legend , rest in peace , you will be so missed .

We have very fond memories of our time in Lismore Hotel. Phil and Packie in on a Sunday early for a few pints. In more recent years we always made sure to find them both when we would visit Lismore. Phil always had a big smile and a fantastic sense of humour. An absolute gentleman.
