I had the pleasure of knowing Phil for many years through our work in ESB and always found him to be friendly, generous with his time, and ever willing to help. For many years he was a committee member and a National Delegate of the Retired Staff Association, where he served with diligence and commitment on behalf of his colleagues.

He was an absolute gentleman — a conscientious worker with a kind and compassionate approach towards his fellow workers. Phil is fondly remembered by the many friends he made throughout his career in ESB.
