Siobhan, mattew, Aislinn & carol. I am shocked to learn of Phil’s passing. Always a gentleman and lovely to talk too. When I would be up in the house with Siobhan he was always lovely to chat away too. It’s easy for me to say but hold onto your memories and cherish them. Your dad and husband would not want you crying. Although it is hard not too. Siobhan if you need anything please just pop me a message and I will drop everything ❤️ thinking of you all. Whilst he was a great Accountant I always felt his ability with words was impressive and setting a scene as in De Lagos Hedald was unique.
" Nature in the form of lightening blue kingfishers,pecking chickens,a big Rhode Island Cockrel bog standard pigeons,doves,lizards,bright green parrots,kestrels etc - a veritable zoo abounds"
Phil will definitely add color to his new abode.

So long Philip to my brother in law I've know for 36 years all the fondest memories I have of you from being patient and kind giving me Maths grinds for my Inter cert and a grade "B" result too!
Always there, non judgemental, a listening ear and having the chats at many family parties and occasions.
I loved watching you and Carol perform in Stillorgan musical society in Fiddler on the Roof many years ago.
You were a great dancer at the weddings and always had a lovely infectious Giggle, whenever I saw you.
Going away with my husband Ian to the Paris world cup rugby 2007 and having the craic yet getting stuck in, helping us pull up floorboards and renovate our new home 15 years ago.
We loved reading your creative letters from De Nigerian Herald describing your daily life and the fruit bats fascinating me.
You brought so much happiness to my sister Carol when you married her and you were a lovely proud father to Matthew, Siobhan and Aislinn. It was always great to see you when I was growing up in Cherrygarth and you brought out the fun in my Mum at the kitchen table over a pot of tea on a Saturday morning with your motor bike parked up outside. May you rest in peace, we will all miss you xx
