We have known Philip for over 40 years as a rep. I never once met him without a lovely smile and positivity. His impeccable dress sense was his trade mark. I will miss him calling to us. A father and grandfather that will be sorely missed. May he rest in peace

I was very saddened to hear of the passing of Philip. I had the pleasure of playing table tennis against him for many years, he representing Leinster cc and I for st Paul's Drogheda. Philip was a true gentleman always immaculately dressed, quick with a witty remark and always a great sportsman.he and his teammate Barney were not only a strong partnership on the table but also clearly great friends of it - a friendship I always admired.our match's warmed many a cold winter's night and I will always look back on those evenings with great fondness. My sincere condolences to his family and friends and all who knew him.he will be remembered with deep respect and affection. Safe onward journey Philip one of life's true gentlemen.

So sorry to hear of Phil's passing. As first cousins we had some great lunches together along with Phil Weinmann. Phil was always so dapper and his stories about his younger years in Dublin were so funny and entertaining. He was a true gentleman and will be sorely missed by all of us who were fortunate to have known him
