Philip (Phil) MURPHY

I only heard the very sad news of Philips passing today, I am shocked. Philip was a great friend of mine growing up, we went to Holy Cross BNS, BCS, we’re in the Dundrum Cubs together and played tennis on the road. My abiding memory was his great smile and fantastic humour. On behalf of my Dad, Sean and sister, Susan, and our families, I pass on our deepest sympathy to the all the Murphy family, Philip and I had great times together, Rest in Peace Philip

I'm so sorry to hear the news of Phil. He was such a kind hearted guy who always had time for me. I was just a kid running in and out of Spar, probably wrecking his head, but him and Jakki always took the time to chat and laugh. I loved seeing his car outside the shop and would pop in for a chat.

Dementia is a wicked disease and to have it afflict 2 of the most beautiful and wonderful people is heartbreaking. My thoughts are with you all.

So sorry to hear of the passing of your son Philip

Dear Patrica we are shocked to hear of the passing of your darling son Philip. From the day we arrived in Monkstown (over 20 years ago) Philip was like a ray of sunshine in the Spar. He was always so full of life,always friendly, always smiling great sense of humour and always so kind and helpful. We remember him with great fondness.

It is with a heavy heart hearing of Phils passing, my thoughts go out to Patricia and his family. Without Phil having his 21st birthday in Greece I would never have met my husband, I am truly grateful to Phil for that. He was such a bright, handsome happy person, he will is truly missed.
