I am very saddened to hear of the passing of a true gentleman, and lovely and kind man who was my neighbor for many years in Ridge Hall apartments, Philip (Philo) O'Sullivan I remember with fondness my many chats and cups of tea with Philip. He had many an endearing story about his life, and his holidays in different parts of the country. He had a great love for the Causeway coast of county Antrim, to name just one place. God be with you now dear Philip in your eternal reward. May you rest in peace. My sincere sympathies to Philip's family and friends who mourn his passing.
Very sorry to hear that poor Philip has passed away, he was a true gentleman, and I have fond memories of Philip visiting my father in Parnell Street, Sallynoggin. If I remember rightly, the family friendship started when my Father got polio in 1947, and I'm not too sure if it was Gerald in the hospital at the same time.... Condolences to all the family. RIP Philip.

Sincere condolences on the passing of the most loyal and devoted Uncle. May Philip rest in peace.
We offer our sincere condolences to his family on this sad occasion. Philip was a true 'gentleman' in the real sense of the word. His deep convictions in the Faith were always to the fore and manifested them selves in many ways but especially in the concern he showed for the poor sections of our society. "With Christ which is far better".
