Philip Quinlan

Whether at 19 like our son Laurent in 2010 or at 99 like my beloved uncle Phil in 2020, every death is a reminder to us that this life is not for ever (Hebrew 9:27). Eternity awaits. Trust in Christ! He is the Way, the Truth and the Life (John 14:6). If Jesus is truly your Lord and Saviour, then His death on the cross and resurrection have paid for your sins. and you have a sure and certain hope of Heaven (John 3:16-18). If you are a Christian, nothing, nothing, nothing in all creation - not even death - can separate you from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8:31-39).
I grieve every death of my beloved family members and friends. Death ends our time with them in this life and we miss them. And yet, if they died trusting in Christ as their only hope, I know that I will certainly see them again in the life to come. Will I see you?

So very sorry you have lost your Dad, I have so many great memories of your Dad{ Uncle Phil and your Mom Auntie Gertie. We the Mc Evoys as we are still known, had so many happy times with Aunty Gertie and Uncle Phil both in 55 and in their home. I will always have these memories to cherish. God be with all of you, R.I.P. Uncle Phil, you have earned your wings.

Uncle Phil was a true gentleman of our times, very respectful and loyal to his family and friends, a true inspiration to our next generation. Himself and Auntie Gertie are so sadly missed, but so good for all you girls to have shared so much of life with them. The end of an era for sure!
May they both be reunited now.
