Thank you so much Philippa for such a rich and supportive friendship, I admired so many things about you, your dark ironic humour, your insatiable curiosity, the generosity with which you so enthusiastically shared your incredible knowledge, your loyalty, perseverance, sensitivity, strength of character and you never judged, you only saw the good in people.
Thank you also for always being so kind and interested in the boys as they grew up and for being my bridesmaid.
But most of all, you were just great to be around in every way, in your company I felt valued, heard and as if anything was possible, I miss you so much, but will always hold you in my heart, lots of love always Nicola, Steve, Zed and Finn xxxx

So heartbroken at the loss of Philippa. It was wonderful to have known her while living in Ireland and to continue the friendship through her beautiful letters when she returned to England to care for her Mum and Dad. This is so very sad. It's not always easy to judge somebody's character upon first meeting, but with Phillipa it was. A kind, gentle, caring, sensitive and talented woman. I will miss her.

Philippa, a truly kind hearted and generous friend. We met at CSM during our London years. Coincidentally she was also our neighbor living just a couple of streets away. We will miss her humor, intelligence and passion for art and music, which carried on over the ocean between us. Rest in peace dear friend. With love

Philippa spoke of her time in Ireland with such great fondness. She loved the people and the place. Had things turned out differently she would have returned. Sadly it was not to be. May she rest in peace.
