It is of great sadness to learn of the passing of Philomena, her sharp wit, smile & kindness will always be remembered.
It is with great clarity I recall her many regular visits in the 60' & 70's to help Georgie in his little grocery store as well as allowing us to play our simple nightly card games which was usually performed using a large bag of flower as a table. Philomena was most popular with all customers, treating everyone with consideration, care & with the greatest of kindness.
May her gentle soul rest peacefully once more in the arms of Eddie, a great man too, we attended CBS Kells together.
