On behalf of the Board of Management, staff, parents and children of St Louis Infant School, we extend our sincere condolences to Gráinne, Sinéad, Róna and Tiarnán on the sad passing of your mum, Philomena.
We thank her for her valued contribution to our St Louis school community and for the kindness and dedication she gave to the teaching profession. You are in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.

Very saddened to hear of the death of your mum Phil. Deepest sympathy to Grainne Sinead Rona and Tiarnan and all your families. Many fond memories of our families connecting through the Irish music in our early years. Also how your mum kindly helped me with my pronunciation of Irish words when learning a new song for competition. Rest in Peace Phil🙏

She was a truly kind, friendly, and thoughtful person who made everyone feel welcome and always had a warm smile. I have many happy memories of her visits to the Burns and O’Gorman households over the years. Her cheerful, positive spirit was contagious, and she often arrived with much-appreciated toys for the kids (another reflection of her generosity).

She will be greatly missed.

A bright light has gone out of my life. No words could describe how I will miss your wit, humour, loyalty and great sense of fun.

So saddened to learn the passing of Phil. She carried a big, joyful energy, always ready for a chat, a laugh, and a bit of craic. She gave generously - in stories, in warmth, in food, and in the quiet grace of someone who made people feel welcome simply by being herself. As a child, I admired her style- big over coats and colourful silk scarves. They suited her
perfectly - vibrant, full of personality, never dull.

A gentle, kind soul with a spark all her own. A lady.
