Our sincere condolences to Don,Terry and Jackie and family on the passing of my Godmother dear aunt Phyl. She was indeed a lovely lady and always greeted you with a warm smile. She loved to talk about Clonsilla as did I and her memory for names was fantastic. We will miss her.

How wonderful it was that Phyl lived for 99 years! I loved to hear Dad and Phyl on the phone, catching up regularly in the last decades of their lives and enjoyed the occasional opportunity to say hi. Sending regular pics to Phyl on family occasions was a lovely way to remain connected with her in her final years. She will be greatly missed by her Australian nieces and nephews (including the ‘greats’). Sending love to Jackie, Don and Terry and families and our shared, extended family xxx

Phyl was a real lady and I loved visiting her when I was in Ireland. I've got many happy memories of summer visits to Skerries as a child and was lucky to get to know her as an adult too.

Aunty Phyl was a wonderful, strong woman. She spoilt me rotten whenever I visited. I loved that she and Dad would talk on the phone while watching the golf on opposite sides of the world.

I have many fond memories of Auntie Phyl, and I think that she would have really enjoyed the fact that I heard the news of her passing when I was on a Greek island, from my cousin all the way down-under in Australia, where she heard it from our cousins in Ireland. Phyl would have enjoyed the fact that the news spread around the world across the Creaner network so quickly. What a legacy for a woman born in the 1920s in Ireland to have the news of her passing heard all around the world so quickly….and all of us Creaner's know that Granny Creaner would have been dead proud…..

I have many happy memories of Phyl, and Donal, from the Ballymun days, when all of us were younger and the memories formed are deeply rooted in my mind.

I’ll keep Phyl and the family in my thoughts and my prayers at this time. Unfortunately I won’t be able to be there on Monday to pay my respects at her funeral in person….but know that I’ll be there in spirit, and also watching in on the livestream.

I met Phil while working for home help, she was such a lady who was always so kind and Caring and I loved our chats. Very sorry to hear this, thinking of her sons & daughter of whom she adores. May she rest in peace.
