So sad to hear of the passing of Phyllis, she was a lovely lady she used to come to the walk in the park, and have a cuppa and a chat every Thursday with her friend Kathleen who sadly passed away in 2023. May she R.I.P. condolences to all her family and friends.

Very sad to hear the news of Phyllis passing away and my thoughts are with Eddie and derek. she was a fantastic neighbour when we were growing up, she always looked after us, from making us dinner after school while our ma was still in work to working in the cinema and always came back with sweets for me and my brother, a very kind hearted lady. Rip Phyllis, I’m sure Robbie and our other old neighbours Sean and Marie are there waiting for ye.

So sorry to hear of phylis passing, she has been such a wonderful granny to my son glen and my other son ciaran who also called her granny.she was there for them both all through their lives, and came to every event in my family and became one of our family members. Rest in peace phylis❤️

RIP Granny

The most kind hearted, purely good person I've ever known. Selfless and endlessly supportive. Being around her you felt like you could do anything! I have so many happy memories with Granny. I recall going to her house every week as a little kid, and meeting her halfway in the city centre with my Mam. Every week she'd bring me to get a toy and every week I'd ask for a 'Lone Ranger' mask. Every week she'd get me that, because I liked it. Even though I had a million of them - all from her. That was her - if you were happy, she was happy. I was spoilt

When the phone rang from Granny, you knew you'd have to block off the next 2 hours - but it was always a joy. She was informed on everything! Family news, politics, celebrity gossip. Everything! She asked about the wellbeing of everybody. In person, on the phone or just thinking of her - I'd smile

I introduced my wife Michelle to Granny and Grandad - they took her to their heart. Michelle said to Granny that she hadn't gotten to know her Grandparents and Granny's response was ''Well, you have us now''. We've had so many fun dinners at each others houses, and even some great Karaoke sessions. I have the evidence, and I will be sharing (Sorry Granny)

We love you and will miss you. I hope you're having a 'Phyllis measure' of Tia Maria with Dad right now. We promise we'll all look after each other, and we will make sure you're remembered forever.
