Willie Gerard and Rosie my sincere sympathy to you all on the death of dear Rita. She has been a part of our lives for many many years. She was so kind and generous to us always and I will never forget her. Her home was so welcoming and was always a joy to call, and of course you never went without a gift. Rita was a fantastic cook. Rest easy Rita your work is done. May the good Lord welcome you home and may you have eternal rest with all those gone before you. 🙏

Dearest Willie, Gerard, Rosie and Isla we are heartbroken for you. I remember Aunty Rita setting off for Canada with Betty all those years ago. Being children at the time we probably didn't fully understand the heartache for the family. Travel was more difficult back then and few had telephones but Rita always kept in touch with her family and was so good to her Mam Bridie and her sisters our Mam Mary and Aunty Kay. Rita and Willie eventually settled back in Ireland, in the Banner County, and welcomed their son our cousin Gerard and then later daughter in law Rosie and grandaughter Isla. Rita was a wonderful woman reunited now with Granny Bridie, Grandad Michael and her youngest brother Michael. Willie keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers. Rest now with the Angels Rita your journey is complete. Your loving nieces and nephew
