I was very sorry to hear of Phoebes passing. I will miss our weekly chats when I visited her at Blainroe with my therapy dog Bear. Phoebe was such a gentle soul - Bear was often reluctant to leave the peace of her presence. May her soul rest in peace 🙏🏻

My love and thoughts to all Phoebe's family. I only met Phoebe once or twice but was struck by how sweet she was. My family were all friends of Jonathan and miss him very much.

We loved visits to Ballinaclash in the late 1970s to appreciate how their self-sufficient farm was evolving. Back in Dublin, the pressure was materialism and keeping up with Jones's by what we purchased. Our visits to Phoebe and Jonathan blew away that need. We returned refreshed with their values rubbing off on us.
