Dear Carol, Gilly, John, Peter, Norma and Justin,

My deepest sympathies and condolences.

Your mother was a wonderful person, and my mother spoke very fondly of her.

I always remember her being very patient, caring and diplomatic when dealing with all of us growing up in Uam Var. Like the time she patiently asked me, “how might this golf ball have come through our front window” and me holding the tennis racket. She told me not to worry and within an hour Tom had fixed a new window :-). I was very grateful for that.

Or the time she caringly picked me up and dusted me off after I had flown into your Garden off a bike with no brakes.

I did get to speak with her in recent times, and to thank her for all the lovely memories as our Neighbour.

She will very much be missed until we all meet again…
