To Clare and the family - my sincere sympathies on you mum's death. May she rest in peace.
Dear Cousins Clare, Eileen, Bill and Paul.
Aunty Phylis was a kind compassionate and caring person and I was so lucky to have her as my aunt growing up. She was the main cog in the wheel for the various O Flynn chlanns and kept us all in touch with each other. That was evident at both their 60th and 70th wedding anniversaries and at Danny’s funeral in November. She loved a good sing song and she always made you feel so special visiting Offington. The past 8 years was very tough for her, Danny and all of you during her stay in Howth Hill Lodge Nursing Home. She got the best of care. What did bring a smile to her face was when we all sang to her. I am glad that she is now at peace but so sad that you all have lost both your mam and dad over a 7 week period. Danny will be happy that she did not linger on.
I wish I could be there at her funeral mass but thanks to COVID I am unable to be there in person but will be there in spirit as I will tune in to the mass. Rest in peace Aunty Phylis. XX
