Mrs Lawler ( Babs) when you came into our classroom for History Class, You certainly did your way. A Big Smile but tried to be Strict and reminding us of all the work we had to do. Then the Fun Began once the History Book was eventually opened.
When I met you after The Leaving Cert, you reminded me and said You Only Got A Paultry B. I was delighted to have passed. You gave me the love of History that I eventually ended up working as a Tour Guide in Kilkenny Castle and I often told the Tourists All Over The World that you gave me the love of History. You and Miss Hanaphy were my inspiration in The Wonderful Presentation Convent Secondary School Kilkenny.
Thank You.
