So sad to hear of Phyllis’ passing. So many of my childhood memories are tied in with the Mullanes. Such great times were had in the various households. The fun, the performances, being allowed to stay up late. I’ll treasure all those memories and especially Carmen’s Habanera
á la Phyllis. Love to you all and sorry I couldn’t make it down to see you. Last time I saw Phyllis she was telling me all about you. She was so proud of you both.

We lived 2 doors up from Paddy and Phyllis and babysat you Colin and Gillian. Our mother Teresa Hyland was a good friend and many’s the time Phyllis and our Mam would be having a cup of tea and a laugh in our kitchen. I remember Phyllis as someone very special. She was warm, full of fun and practical wisdom. I loved when she would sing opera or any song as she had a beautiful voice. May her sweet soul rest in peace.
