I was very sorry to hear of the passing of Phyllis. I remember Phyllis, being very fondly spoken about, over the years; a rich and full life.

Phyllis made our days brighter. She was always the first to enquire about everyone else, her caring nature never lessened from her time as a Nurse in the Army(a long time ago). She was very proud of being a nurse. She kept an eye out for those more vulnerable and anyone new was made feel most welcome. She had a huge interest in people, their families and their stories. We regarded her as one of the our Matriarchs of the centre.
I was unable to attend the beautiful funeral mass but I watched it online and she would have been so so happy. It captured the essence of her. Family, neighbourhood, community, hobbies, compassion, resilience, determination and all encircled in her profound faith. She will rest in peace now because she was a living angel.

Phyllis was an absolute lady. I will miss passing her by on the road as she was out walking in her elegant coat. We would stop & have the chats. She was so energetic & vibrant. I am so sorry for your loss.
