Good Bye Aunty Phyllis. We will miss you so much.
I never met Phyllis O'Connell and i must say that it is with huge regret that now i never will. I actually only heard her voice once and that was over the telephone. However i leave this message of condolence because of the respect i hold for her from the many stories i have heard about her. I heard what a marvellous mother she was to her 10 children, about how strong she was and how she still ruled the roost despite her failing health. I heard about how sharp her mind was, how intelligent she was and how her extraordinary wit was with her right until the end. I know she will be sadly missed by many people, particularly her sons and daughters and their wider families. So to Pat and all the rest of the family you have my deepest sympathy. I'm sorry i wont be there to pass my condolences to you all personally but please know that my thoughts are with you at this very sad time. Phyllis O'Connell "May you rest in peace".
