Pierce Bradley

To: David, Joe, Liz, and Paula, I am so, so sorry for the loss of your father Piece.

Of the Four times I've had the privilege of visiting Ireland the trip was made even more special when Piece was added to the mix.

I remember a visit when Pierce, myself, my wife Victoria and Joe where in the hills above Cork looking for the Twomey homestead, what marvelous
adventure it was.

He was Gracious and giving of his time always able to tell a good story or two, and had a grand smile, and laugh to boot.

In the end he just loved the opportunity to meet people where they were at and listen, with full attention to what they had to say.

I will miss him Dearly

My sincere condolences to David, Joe, Elizabeth and Paula and the broader Bradley family. I was very sad to hear of the passing of Pierce. He was such a kind man, and his warmth and generosity will always be remembered. My thoughts are with you all and your family.

What a sad few days with the funeral of my uncle Pierce. Elizabeth was so right in her beautiful eulogy that Pierce was the glue for his family but also for the larger Bradley clan. He always took interest in all the happenings of his many nephews and nieces. He was a true gent ,and always thoughful of others.

He surely is now preparing to watch the All Ireland with his own 2 brothers in law ,Denis Cotter and my Dad Finbar Ronayne . Three great GAA fans .

Pierce will be missed by so many people.

It’s safe to say Cork will have some extra ‘pull’ on their ball on Sunday if Pierce has anything to do with it. I have such fond recollections of an absolutely generous, sartorial and gentle man who loved the chat. He cared about everyone close whether neighbour, friend or relation. Kindness was his middle name and, together with Claire, he was of great support to my mother Eileen on Tom’s (Pierces first cousin) untimely passing all those years ago.

RIP Pierce and heartfelt condolence to Paula, Elizabeth, Jo & David. I have years of happy memories in the Bradley home growning up. Claire & Pierce always made me feel so welcome (especially when Jo was chasing us around the house with his eyes inside out!) I never once heard a cross word from Pierce and I must have been there daily for at least 15 years. Pierce you were an out and out gent and will be sadly missed.
