Grandad/Batman, I miss you more than anything already and wish I could have had one more conversation with you. I’m so proud to have been your granddaughter. I’ll miss our laughs, chats and your advice - there’s no one like you. Hope you’re enjoying your Guinness’s up there without Bambi and I stealing the first sips! Love and miss you always xxxxxx

A great Husband,Father and Grandfather sadly missed by his family.

Thank you Dad for everything. As educator, guardian, mentor and friend, you set a parenting standard beyond attainment for lesser mortals! A great but modest intellect and someone both loved and admired by so many. I miss you terribly but value every memory of the times we had together. Rest in eternal peace - and I hope Heaven has an open bar.

Carmel, only learned yesterday of Pierce's passing. Martina and myself were deeply saddened and would like to convey our deepest sympathy to you and the family. A lovely gentleman and may he rest in peace. Michael and Martina.
