It is incredibly sad to hear of Pius's passing he was always very kind whenever I've met him. Condolences to his family and friends.

Had the pleasure of meeting Pius during the Cork 20 Rally 2023. We were a few cars ahead of Pius and we had great chats and craic at the start of stages. So so shocked to hear of his passing. Condolences too all his family during this sad time

To all his family,to his fantastic work mates(who were his fond firm friends) to all those he assisted with their daily life...and thats what he did..he helped people. Sure,he would give out about the 'state of the union'...grumbling about taxes,paye,politics,bureaucracy, unnecessary restrictions etc etc...under all that guff was a huge heart. And a fearless heart in his own way...rally driving is not for the fainthearted.He loved to dismantle an ole ruin of a vintage tractor and build it up to former glory.
He was a man of many many talents. We deliberately wont mention Man Utd!
On a professional level,he was a pure gentleman to deal with. No request was ever refused. He had one such senior customer belonging to Conna Nursing Home and to say he had unlimited patience,would be an understament. He would even bring her to shop for underwear and hold the basket for her! No better man.
He was one of a kind. Ar dheis de go raibh an hAnam.
On behalf of all the work he did,in all the nursing homes in the area, go raibh mile maith agut.
