Was so shocked and saddened to hear of PJ's passing. An absolute legend who put a smile on everyone's face. Have great memories selling programmes in Croke Park with PJ, always great craic and up for a laugh. I contacted PJ during the summer as I was making a video of messages for my brother (big fan of PJ'S) who was getting married, Pj's video-filmed in his shed with a pint of Guinness was by far the best and made everyone laugh. I have been looking back on that video and smiling through the tears. So glad I asked him to make that video and I would love to share it with Claire and the family in the near future, in the meantime, my thoughts are with you all and PJ will certainly not be forgotten- Sarah, John and Pauline Brownen xxx

So sorry to hear of PJ's passing. Our deepest condolences to Mary, Claire and the Lads and to all the extended Lynch family. It was always great to have PJ on umpire duty whilst standing in goal on pitch 35, goalkeeper can be a lonely position especially when things are going wrong but PJ would always be so encouraging, positive and most importantly blame someone else if a goal went in against me. Thanks for so many great memories PJ, may you rest in peace.
