An entertaining chat was in the offing, with his views on matters, local and far afield, always something to be valued and later considered. You could depend, too, that his report would be delivered in that whimsical, faintly amused manner, that was all his own. He will be missed by all who knew him. A fine man.

Sad news, I have happy memories of working with PJ many years ago in Co Louth. A true gentleman. RIP.

We were very sorry to learn of the death of PJ. We knew him from the time he worked in Kilkea Castle and of course from working in The Lord Bagenal. A consummate professional who always wanted to do right by the customer.
