It has been a pleasure to do business with PJ, Derek and David at Iron Images over the last 22 years.

PJ was a gentleman and a gentle man and it was always a pleasure to visit him in Galway, on many occasions with another business friend Michael O'Neill, to chew the fat with PJ and Derek at Tuam Road and occasionally to have a glass or two over dinner or in one of the many fine establishments in the town.

Rest in peace PJ you will be missed by many.

I was so sorry to hear of the passing of P.J. because as the saying goes we go back a long way. P.J. always admitted that I was the cause of him ending up in Castlerea, one day back in or around 1977 he came in to our pub and introduced himself and he mentioned that he was looking for a place to start up his own business. I said I have the place for you, I went over to my neighbour SusanMannion got her over, they stuck up chat, and the rest is history, I was talking to Stephen Mannion and he remembers P.J. staying with them on Main Street. We became great friends. Then Una came into his life and I remember there wedding in The Forest Park in Boyle and me trying to sing and Tommy Gaynor cheering me on, as Una worked for Tommy and Maureen Gaynor in Castlerea.
P.J. was a special person in every way and a heart of gold, always in good form, and most obliging, He was a genius in his own way and once came up with an idea that was so unique that he was able to have the patient of his own world wide. he is going to be greatly missed.

A master craftsman and a great businesses man. I was always intrigued by his workshop and the quality of workmanship. I always asked him questions to learn to which he replied with great detail.
I wanted to become a metal worker when I left school.
Im shure he clocked up millions of miles throughout the country in his travels. He will be sadly missed by all.
