I had the good fortune to have known PJ since first we met in Flannan's in Ennis in 1960, right through our 5 years we survived there as boarders and on into flatland (No apartments in these days!) in Dublin. Special memories of Raglan Road, Waterloo House and Baggot St. area in general.

I had the privelige of working with P.J. for many years, a man of wisdom and good humour who would bring light to anyone's day. He made his living in Dublin, but his heart was in Clare and in the traditional music that was the background to his early years.
