Dear Colin, Polina, Louise and Dermot, I am so sorry and upset to hear about Polina’s passing. I cannot imagine how difficult it must be for you all at this terrible time and I wish I could offer or say some words of comfort. My thoughts go back to Limerick and the fond memories when Polina and I were young girls playing together on the street; we had such good fun, happy days. Gone but not forgotten. Polina was a great inspiration, a true friend and she will remain in mine and all of our hearts, forever. My sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathies to you all at this sad, sad time. May the Lord have mercy on her soul.
