To the mulligan family, I would like to start by saying, ross was a great friend and an absolute gentleman, he had help myself and my family in many occasions in both the military and civilian world, he always stepped up when needed and never had to be asked for anything, he always wanted to help his friends, I am absolutely heart broken to say goodbye to a brother, I just wanted to let you know you raised a brilliant man, soldier and peacekeeper.

Hi Tracey, I just wanted to say I never spoke to Ross but I knew of Ross. From what I heard, words simply are not enough to express your loss and the loss to everyone who did have the pleasure of having spoken to Ross. I don't believe in God nor Heaven Tracey but I do believe in energy... and for that reason I believe you and all connected to Ross will most definitely have such a good energy in their lives. I know that doesn't replace having him here but rest assured, his energy will be looking over you all.

Private Ross Mulligan's loss for
his parents, brother, extended family and friends is also a loss to Ireland. He lived a life of service to others taking great pride in giving of himself - throughout his life. His kindness, love and generosity of spirit became his trademark, his badge of honour.

His lovely spirit is now immortalised in all of our hearts because of his legacy which is reflected through his humility, humanity and empathy for others. Ireland is a better place because of Private Ross Mulligan's short life.
