My deepest condolences to Maria and the family. Ronald had a profound impact on me, as I'm sure he did on so many of his other students. His violin lessons with me were more than just about the music. They were also about learning how to learn. He was a true gentleman. May he rest in peace.
My condolences to Ronald’s family. It was a privilege to become aquatinted with him and his incredible work for young Irish musicians through the Music Instrument Fund of Ireland (MIFI). I am forever grateful for the support I and so many other young musicians received through MIFI. His numerous meaningful and inspiring contributions to music in Ireland will not be forgotten. May he rest in peace.
Dear Mr Masin, with your strings you stirred the melodies in the child’s heart and ignited the sparks of countless dreams. May heaven’s symphony forever accompany you; we will eternally cherish our gratitude and fond memories.
Sincere sympathy to the family of Prof Ronald on his sad passing. I had many meetings with him over several years when I was Manager of The Mageough. It was always a pleasure to meet him.
Our most heartfelt condolences to Maria, Gwendolyn, Patrick, and Family.

Mr. Masin played a pivotal role in both of our childhoods and teenage years, teaching us amazing music and valuable life lessons. His steadfast guidance highlighted the importance of hard work and taking pride in one’s passions, while his kindness and personal insight offered a unique perspective on the world. We both benefitted greatly from his wisdom and teaching, and we are extremely grateful for the time we spent under his tuition.

The work he did for music in Ireland is incredibly laudable and he leaves behind a lasting legacy of high calibre musicians.

Maria, I was so sorry to hear of Ronalds' death. May he rest in peace. I have wonderful memories of my violin lessons with Ronald. I was so grateful to him for taking me on as an adult beginner. His patience and inspiring approach at all the lessons was wonderful and kept me on the straight and narrow for my practice. Best wishes to you and all your family at this very difficult time.

Our sincerest sympathy to all of Ronald's family at this very sad time. Have been aware of his huge contribution to string music education in Ireland for many years but just recently, directly encountered the level of his dedication and forward planning for the next generation of Irish musicians, with our son being the lucky recipient of a "MIFI" instrument, enabling him to pursue his passion for music with the tools needed. Thank you for this wonderful legacy, that will never be forgotten.
My deepest condolences to all the family, especially Maria and Gwendolyn whom I knew during my time as Ronald’s pupil. It was a time I shall always cherish with fond memories and deep appreciation of the musicianship and wonderful violin teaching that Ronald imparted. Rest in peace Maître.
