To Gail and family sincere condolences on the loss of Sean. It was always a pleasure to meet him in College. I regret that i was far away in West Cork and unable to attend the service. May you all be consoled in your loss.
Buíochas do Dhia a thug beatha agus bua dó. Solas na bhFlaitheas dá anam uasal.
To Gail and family
Deepest sympathy on the death of Sean. He was my schoolmate and best friend at Tooreen school. Sean was just five days younger than me, so we grew up together. May God be good to him.
I was shocked to hear of Sean's death today and am grateful to be able to send my condolences from the U.S.A.
I was privileged to be his student in Maynooth College when he, so eloquently, lectured on Mark's Gospel! He was also a good friend from the days of growing up in Tooreen, Co. Mayo.
I regret not having kept up the contact over the years on my visits to Ireland.
My sincere condolences to Gail and family and also to his sister Mary Keane.
Sincere and deep sympathy, to Sean's family, on the news of his death.
How saddened we were to hear of his passing just now. Sean, has been a loyal friend throughout the last 45 years and we will miss him.
He was a brilliant man, who is probably in deep discussions at this very moment, with John Connelly and Tommy Waldron, solving the World's problems! Eternal rest, grant unto all of them.
Our prayers are with all of you.
Pat and Angela Coffey .
To Gail and family

My deepest sympathy on Séan's death. We will all miss him deeply
I am deeply shocked to hear of Sean's passing. As a former student of his at TCD, I remember his inspiring teaching, and kindness to his students.
To Gail and the Family. I was brought up in Carrowbeg, Kilkelly ,within 3 miles of Sean's birthplace. I have always looked up to him as a lad, a man, a scholar and a leader in society, Chuirch, and indeed in his former days as a footballer of unique quality. Sean was gifted in so many ways. But you only knew his giftednesss when you heard him speak and mostly by his rounded example in attitude. He carried that giftedness in such a humble manner. May he find in the glory of heaven the fullness of his beautiful and creative life.
