Deepest sympathy to the Foley family on the loss of Prof David.. a great man...a life saver... I was lucky to be one of his many patients and will be ever grateful that he used his many talents in such a positive way.May he rest in peace

It is just now that I have become aware of this terrible news. My sincerest condolences to all his family and friends. As his patient he certainly impacted on my life with a very successful long technically difficult surgery His straightforward and gentle manner instilled trust and confidence. Indeed he wore greatness lightly. May he rest in peace.

Really sad to hear of Prof Foleys death. I was his patient for a time in Beaumont Hospital. He was so intelligent, kind, funny and compassionate.
Cad a tharla? was the first thing he said to me and I knew I was in safe hands. A special person. Rest in peace.

I was shocked to learn of the death of the wonderful Professor David Foley i was a patient of his he was a wonderful cardiologist and a lovely man so sorry to his wife Oonagh his son Hugh his daughter alexander and extended family. May he rest in peace

I am a patient of Prof Foley. It came as shock to hear the very sad news. I do
not know how to say thanks for all he did. His relaxed and competent friendly manner gave great confidence. I have been a patient of his since 2003.

Condolences to the Foley family on the sad passing of Prof David Foley. What this man done for my Dad we cant thank enough. Got the pleasure to meet Prof Foley with my Dad and still remember how genuine and caring he was, a lovely person to have met.

Not only a brilliant mind but a larger than life personality. David treated my Dad and I had the pleasure of meeting him at one of his appointments. A welcoming and light hearted man, he made Dad feel very comfortable and relaxed. Dad was very saddened to hear of David's illness as were we all.
