So sorry Joanne, Tony and Ray to hear about Rachel's passing away.
From Annette and uncle John in France.
PS. It would be lovely to meet up again sooner than later.
Deepest condolences on behalf of all of Rachel's former colleagues and friends in Tusla. Rachel's work in Geraldstown House was a huge support to many families in the area and she will be remembered for the positive impact she had on the lives of children & parents.
Some people make the world a better place and Rachel was definitely one of these people. From times shared in Geraldstown House and the odd times we met in more recent years, Rachel showed her proud Mam and grandmother side, as well as her wider love of children and animals. Someone who has left her mark on many of us but none more than her children and grandchildren. Thinking specially of you all and hope that in time, fond memories of times shared along with the kind of strength your dear Mam had, will comfort you! Rachel, RIP
Rip Rachel. You were a lady. You had such a brilliant way in Geraldstown House with the young children. Brilliant at your job. Send your family love, light and healing.

Kind, caring, compassionate and funny. Always the kind word. Such an awful loss to her family, friends and to all , human and canine, in Dogs Aid. We will always miss and remember you.
I've been reading the lovely messages for Rachel who I knew when she was a child. She was my cousin and we would always have thought very warmly of her. She was a little character and I met her maybe only a couple of times in adulthood and she was the very same. I'm very sorry for your loss Annette and to Rachel's children and grandchildren.
Very sorry to hear of Rachel's passing. I have fond memories of her. RIP
Dear Rachel, your loss is so deeply painful. You radiated such love, compassion, dedication, loyalty and truth. Thank you for a lifetime of advocacy and sheer graft for the animals you rescued, fought for and helped build a sanctuary on behalf of. Your radiance lives on in all of your children and grandchildren. I will miss you always. Thank you for being my friend. As you would say, Good Night Sweetheart xxx

Rachel was a very good friend and huge supporter of the sanctuary for too many years to count. She will be badly missed.
I had a great pleasure of knowing Rachel from a very young age. She was the laugh of the summer projects in Geraldstown House. Kids adored her and parents were blessed to have her in there lives.
She will be sadly and truly missed by everyone that knew her. Our condolences to the family in this sad time. Deanna Rowley and family

I worked with Rachel in Geraldstown House for many years and am devastated about her passing.

Rachel was one of the funniest and most passionate people I have ever met. Her stories, facial expressions and turn of phrase regularly had me in stitches laughing.

Most of all, I loved hearing her stories about her children and grandchildren. She was so supportive, so proud of them all and spoke about them with such love.

My thoughts are with her family, children and grandchildren at this very difficult time.
Rest in peace dear Rachel. You were such a part of Dogs Aid. You will be forever missed by Maggie, volunteers and doggies. You will be rewarded in heaven for all your goodness and empathy towards the animals. We will miss you forever but will never forget about you.

To Rachel's family and friends, I am so sorry for your loss of Rachel.
