Rest In Peace and love Ralph. You were a light in this world and I am glad I got to experience some of that light, even if it was only brief.

I never met Ralph but heard many good things about him by his sister Anne and Francis. Our condolences to the family. Nancy and René

So sorry to hear about Ralph. Our trip and visit to Newbury to see you all was memorable and we had hoped you would all come to the US to see us. Sad.

So sorry to hear about Ralph. I really enjoyed my visit to Ireland and the company of Ralph and the hospitality he showed me. I was shocked because he looked so well. Feel sad.

I remember our 43 hour train journey in India from Mumbai to Bangalore never thinking it would be our last. We had some great times together. We’ll all miss you. Happy travels with Bluey.

I admire someone who lived such a vibrant life , and despite the illness to continue with the adventures . You are an inspiration to me .....

May I offer my deepest sympathy to all the Lindsay family. I was introduced to Ralph while I lived in Mullingar 6/7 years ago. I will remember Ralph as a lovely guy - a real gentleman.

Dear Anne and family,

It is with the deepest regret I write to express my sincerest condolences on the news that your lovely brother, Ralph, has died. What a remarkable man, and what a remarkable journey. We, as his doctors, could only stand by and admire his tenacious courage and determination.

When I reflect on all that happened to him over the past couple of years, I can only shake my head in sheer admiration for all that he achieved, and most importantly for never stopping to live life to the full. At no time during our numerous conversations did he ever complain, despite having every right to do so, as his tumour seemed to have no respect for Ralph's extraordinary humanity.

I join you all in reflecting on the extraordinary feats of his determination, and I sincerely hope that you will be given the strength to withstand the terrible pain of your inevitable grief.

Dear Anne and Family,

Words cannot express my sadness that Ralph finally lost his battle with cancer, At times Nature can be so cruel, and Ralph had such a zest for life it was so unfair that he should be struck down so young.

He was one of the bravest patients I have encountered. Never complaining and always planning something new and crazy to do. I consol myself that inspite of all the treatment he endured, he managed to send photos showing he was having a great time and living life to the full.

I know you must all feel devastated, but hopefully in time you will remember the good times and comfort yourselves that Ralph is now at peace.

Nichts vergeht so schnell wie die Zeit...es ist Erinnerung die bleibt.

My heart goes out to the Lindsay family for the loss of a young soul gone too soon. I had the pleasure of meeting Ralph many years ago when he made his journey state side and stayed with our family for a bit in Little Rock, Arkansas. The visit was short compared to the friendship we formed with Anne, Frances and Ralph has lasted through the decades. Always thought of with fond memories and much laughter. Much love to all. God speed Ralph!

Some people in this life you never forget, dear Ralph was one of those people. I have such fond memories of taking Ralph into my home many years ago upon his visit in the United States. He was such a young and adventurous young lad. So full of life and the quest to conquer the world. I am now 73 years old, but I will always remember Ralph with that same image even though many years have passed. Until we meet again young Ralph...........love always, Donnah "Delicious"

Sorry I didn't make it home to say a final goodbye Ralphy. You will be greatly missed. Thank you for showing us all that life is for living. I don't doubt that wherever your next journey has taken you, you will be smiling and lucky are those that get to enjoy the adventure with you. You may have been taken from us, but you will live in our hearts forever.
