Hi Mrs Prendergast, Tom, Mary and Bronwyn. I was so sad to hear of the passing of Ralph and have many many fond memories of walking to the Shannon fields to swim in the summer or going out early in the mornings to get mushrooms in fields along Singland road, all the time being told amazing stories of Na Fianna, Oisin, Cú Culainn and all the rich Irish Mythology. He is a big part of my childhood and was always so kind and gentle. The world has lost a wonder and heaven gained a great storyteller and a knowing smile. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam. So sorry to learn of the passing of Ralph, played with him in hurling and football teams for Claughaun in the fifties.
He was a very, very talented hurler, Ralph was a truly kind and pleasant gentleman.
