My sympathies to all of Ray’s immediate and extended family on Ray’s passing. He always said that he knew nothing about football (Gaa). However - that never stopped him from talking for hours about football . He was a great mentor and friend to all involved with the Doonbeg Minor and under 21 football teams of the early 1970’s - County Champions in both grades. Our reunion last November (which Ray really enjoyed) brought back great memories of our youth growing up in Doonbeg. Thanks to Ray and Everyone else involved in anyway with Doonbeg Gaa Club for providing us with the opportunity to be part of a Great Club and for helping us to develop lifelong friendships. Buíochas mór le cách.
