Ray’s contribution to this locality was enormous, providing very valuable employment over the years to so many local people.
Ray & your family built such a wonderful business and park to be enjoyed by so many and made us so proud of our locality.
He generously provided sponsorship to many local organisations and clubs who will always appreciate his support for all.
We always enjoyed meeting him, his enthusiasm, generosity, and good humour always shone through and it’s being our pleasure to have known him.
May he find rest and peace now in his heavenly home. 🙏🕯💐

Dear Ros, Charles and Natalya, I was so sorry to hear of Ray's passing. I always enjoyed meeting him at various family events and loved his sense of fun and mischief. With James home this week, there have been lots of stories from when Mum and Phyl first met Ray & Tom in Kinsale and the many pranks Ray has played on people over the years - he was one of a kind! He used to love telling the story of having James and myself at the factory for work experience back in 1996 - James picking the rotten potatoes off the conveyor belt whilst I was up in marketing! He was taken from you too soon.
Deepest sympathy to all the Coyle family on the very sad passing of Ray. May he Rest In Peace.

On behalf of all the team at HB Leisure our heartfelt condolences to Raymond’s family Ros, Charles and Natalya on his very sad passing. Raymond was the ultimate ‘larger than life’ character. A tough businessman but once you were in his camp it was a lovely place to be. He made everyone around him feel good with his incredibly warm personality and totally infectious sense of humour. Even the most hardened pessimists would soon cheer up in his company! We are also so grateful to him for taking Eddie under his wing and making him part of the Tayto family! It is hard to believe that Ray is no longer with us. He was one of those people you assumed would always be there....and the world needs more people like Raymond.

Ray, what an honor to have met you and have so many laughs in your company.
I’ll never forget when James and I went to Tayto with you.You wanted us to meet the artist you had working for the summer.
Knowing your jokes with Tom over the years,I should’ve known something was up.So in good faith I went to meet the park artist, who painted “one of her masterpieces”so you said, giving me a full fledged tiger face.
My1st reaction..what now?Do I show a good time and wipe it off before dinner? But seeing how much fun you and James were having,I had to keep it to the many pubs you took us to around town.
It was hilarious..you told people I was an actor from LA,who’s making a movie inIreland playing Tiger man. They waited for a laugh, but you were so committed,I had no choice but to elaborate further “A tiger man from Brazil” I said“stranded inIreland looking for his lost pet from his years back home”.They were so nervous to break it to me how dreadful the movie sounded, that for all car rides we were laughing as hard as we could, making the movie even more ridiculous each time.I remember James and I had a sore faces from so much laughter. It was one of the best days I can remember. To top it off, Ros, yourself &Charles had us for a lovely dinner with your sister and friends as we stayed over.I thank you and yr beautiful family for all the generosity in spirits and in hosting us each time as if we were your own family. You were one of a kind,Ray.Rest in peace.Forever honored to have met you.

Ros, Charles, Natalya, I am so upset by the passing of Ray and you have my deepest condolences. He was one the most kind and caring people I have ever known, and a character the likes of which we will never see again.
More than anything he was a beloved member of his extended family, and an amazing best friend to Tom for his entire life. I am sure they are together again now, reminiscing about what an amazing life Ray lived and how much how loved you all.
