Raymond, or Raga as he was known to us, was a kind, caring and supportive friend. A super smart guy who was brilliant at every sport he turned his hand to, yet always remained modest in his talents and accomplishments. Over the last few years it was such a joy to see him so happy after meeting Angela, and he was so doting and full of love when Orla Rose arrived on the scene.

I’ll miss his warm smile and gentle demeanour, and will cherish the memories we have as kids growing up together and our shenanigans in later years. Our Meadowbrook crew won’t be the same without you Raga. Rest in Peace bud. We’ll miss you so much xxx

I'm in disbelief writing this and I can not begin to imagine what you are all going through. I knew Raymond (or Raga as I always knew him) as I practically lived in Meadowbrook in my teens. Raymond was always so lovely, so caring and sincere. I always loved his laugh. I'm sorry for the future he has and you have all lost with him as a family. My thoughts are with you all as his loving family and in particular Angela and his little girl Orla.

Sandra, my sincerest condolences. The loss of any dear one is tragic, but surely the loss of one's child is the greatest burden of pain that anyone could suffer. My heart goes out to you. I pray that you will find consolation in the support of your family and friends. May Ray rest in peace.
