I had the pleasure of working with Ray way back in the early 70s when we were both bus conductors with Bus Eireann (then C.I.E.) Ray moved on to the Fire Brigade and later he was always kind, courteous and very helpful when he worked in the Citizen's Advice office on South Mall. He was a genuine gentleman and is related to my wife Maura through the Kent family. To his wife Josephine and his family please accept our deepest sympathies on his sad passing.
