We were deeply saddened to hear of Ray’s passing. He was a truly beautiful man and a very special human being. His warmth, kindness, and presence will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

To all Ray's family. I would like to off my condolences and sympathy to you at this sad time. I had the privilege of knowing Ray over the past 20 years. He was such a lovely, warm pleasant, talented and knowledgeable man that was very helpful to me regarding local heritage of Bray and showed me a number of walks over the years. I loved his book "Chip, Chop, Cherry" and told him he should write a sequel about the rest of his life as it would be very interesting! And he was also a great musician and artist. He will be remembered....

The last time i met Ray was in Enniskerry and bought 2 paintings of the International Hotel.
We had a great chat as he had worked in Dargle and Bray Laundry with my Uncle John.
He had a great talent which he shared with everyone.
