I was very sorry to hear of the passing of Ray ,a gentleman to the fingertips. Very fond memories of visits to Croke Park to see the Dubs. Deepest sympathy to his family and very close friends at this difficult time.

So sad to hear of Ray’s passing. A true Railway stalwart. First met Ray in 1968 on the Hockey field. The one thing that could always be said of Ray “Nobody ever had a bad word to say about him” Always enjoyed his company which continued to our Railway reunions. My condolences to his family. I also watched the service online, he’d be so proud of his girls as it was a fitting & beautiful tribute to Ray, I’ve no doubt he’d particularly love the music that you chose. I remember Ray from our Unilever days as we used to car share our journeys into sheriff street for many happy years. He was one of a kind and a true gentleman, God bless you Ray as you truly deserve to rest in peace.

So sad to hear the news of Ray’s death. I first got to know him in the 70’s through Railway Union Hockey Club. He was a truly great defender and always gave it everything on the pitch. He was always admired by so many people. Our condolences to the extended family.
