I still can't believe we've lost Ray. He was a great friend and neighbour to me over the years in Tory and kept in touch when I was home in Scotland. He was particularly good to me the last year after losing my mother. A kind gentleman with a sense of humour only his true friends would appreciate. He couldn't do enough to help you. I only hope I was as good a friend to him as he was to me. He'll be missed so much. My condolences to Rays family and Tina. We'll never forget him. I'll never forget him. RIP Ray, my friend.
I was shocked and saddened to hear of Raymond's passing he was such a unique and free
spirited person. My thoughts and prayers are with all the family. You will be sadly missed Ray and may you rest in peace.

To Tina and all Ray’s family. So very sorry to hear of Ray’s death.
Ray called to our house in Beaumont Avenue every Christmas, regardless of weather, and brought sweets to our mother “Mammy Wade”! She was delighted and always said how kind it was that he thought of her and it truly was. He might accept a cuppa then be on his way, back to the trees.
You will be sadly missed Ray, love from all the Wades.

I've great memories of knocking around with Ray and Denis; and another lad whose name I can't recall right now. He was a Chef.
We went to Ballyshannon Folk Festival once; via The North. I was driving. We encountered a few military folk on the shores of Lough Erne.
Things were becoming somewhat hairy. But fair play to Ray; he sorted things.
Condolonces to all who loved him. He did no harm.
Larry Dunne. Ex Ballycorus Co Dublin.
