I'm so very sorry to hear about Ray's passing and my thoughts are with his family at this terrible time who have been dealt an extremely cruel hand along with his colleagues at Eurofins Biomnis. My interactions with him during my stint there were brief (to my deep regret) but I saw up close every day just how committed he was to his work and the respect that he garnered from everyone around him. The exchanges that we did have, I always found him to be kind, respectful, patient and genuine. I've no doubt that this picture that I'm painting captures a only mere fragment of the man that Ray was but I will say that in those very fleeting moments he left a lasting impression on me in relation to how to treat others and I will remember that. May he rest in peace and may he always watch over family

My heart has been heavy since hearing about Ray's sudden passing. I worked with him in Eurofins and amongst his many many stories and jokes the obvious love for his family and friends shone through. Ray regularly had me in tears laughing with his stories. What i have really been remembering in the past few weeks are the quieter moments when he would check in and say- I've noticed you were a bit quiet today, is all okay? When i told him that he had inspired me to get a motorbike his face absolutely lit up and he helped me every step of the way, even bringing in some of his spare gear for me.
Ray was one of a kind and i saw first hand at his service on Saturday the amount of love and joy he had in his life. All my love to Debbie, Ashley, Emmet, Freddie and all of Ray's extended family and friends X The space left behind by his loss is just immense.

Condolences to all Rays family and many friends on his sudden passing. Growing up on Mayfield Drive, Rayo was so popular with everyone. No one escaped his razor sharp wit, funniest guy I've ever known. The funeral this morning was a such a lovely send off, the eulogies really summed up Rayo character, that of a fantastic family man who everyone loved. We can all learn something from Rayo's attitude to life.

I am deeply saddened to be writing this about someone who was taken far far too soon. I worked with Ray in Beaumont Hospital for years. He was a true gentleman, one of the nicest, funniest and most genuine people a person could know and I feel very lucky to have had that opportunity. He left a smile on the faces of the people he met with his great sense of humour and calm ease. My deepest condolences to Debbie, Ashley, Emmet and to all of Ray's wider family. He talked about you all often and with such great pride. Rest in peace Ray.

I’m so shocked and saddened to hear about Rays sudden passing. I worked with him in Beaumont over 25 years ago and still regard him as one of the kindest, funniest people I’ve ever met.
