Working with Ray at the GOODLIFE gym in Ashgrove was a privilege. Ray was an inspiration to many who observed him both in person and online. He had many followers who took great encouragement from his drive and joy of life, attracting much attention with his boxing, rugby drills, and even his comical attempts at Tango and the Capoeira martial art. He was always willing to have a go - and always done in a joyous spirit. Parkinson’s disease did not blunt his eloquence or his wit. His care for others was evident and his often humorous anecdotes were a highlight of our sessions. He was a popular gym member, then resident at both nursing care facilities he progressed to. Rest In Peace Ray. Your experience, humour, and passionate love of life will be greatly missed. You started as my client and became a valued friend.
